The EU might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it calls “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the United States against five European individuals working on combating online hate and misinformation, an EU official stated.

European Leaders Decry US Move as ‘Coercion’

European leaders such as the French president charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, after the visa restrictions were placed on individuals that were at the heart of campaigns to enact laws regulating US-based technology firms.
